Legion Schemes // Warhammer: The Horus Heresy If you were wondering how these might look not painted up like the Sons Of Horus, Games Workshop also showed off a few more schemes. I like the idea of mixing and matching with those armour sets to create the likes of Blackshields. I hope they are more comparable to the older Heresy sets we got in previous boxed games. Sons Of Horus Close-Up // Warhammer The Horus Heresy Could we be seeing Primaris-sized Horus Heresy Space Marines? They feel bigger, especially after getting a look at those larger bases. We're still yet to see what these Space Marines look like when compared to some of the older Heresy plastic kits. You can wave your vexilla from your backpack, use a nuncio-vox or maybe keep an eye out for enemies with an augury scanner. The kit also comes with options for additional wargear.

The sergeant of the squad is going to be able to rock a power sword, power fist or lightning claw alongside their old-school plasma pistol. The miniatures come with your standard Boltgun loadout but you can also strap bloomin' big bayonets to the end as well as chainblades. This is making me think that this set is going to be a lot more like the Firstborn Space Marine kits compared to the new Primaris designs. The new plastic kit takes cues from the old RTB01 box (which is as old as I am) but the new range is much more posable and customisable (of course). MKVI Tactical Squad // Warhammer: The Horus Heresy The Corvus Armour has always been iconic so it would make sense to see it return for this revamp of The Horus Heresy. A Space Marine is a Space Marine of course, but I think that the folks behind the designs here have managed to nail that Mark VI look.
